ELISABET GUSTAFSSON (b. 72) is a film director based in Stockholm and with one foot in Paris.
After four years in the French capital where she produced TV- reports for different SVT programs together with a colleague, she returned to Stockholm in 2002. Influenced by Tati among others, her films have often an impressive set design and considered burlesque and full of imagination. They have been shot in Sweden, Estonia and France, and distributed world wide. She’s now expanding her horizons even more, going to the desert in Mali to shoot her first longer documentary with a French photographer.
